Fight for the Arts
Since 2018, Love Your Rebellion has fostered its mission to empower marginalized groups through the arts. While it's never been easy, we now face new challenges that threaten the existence of the arts programming at the core of our mission. We cannot face that challenge alone.
In the past, state and city grants have supported Love Your Rebellion’s programming. Now, those grants have been restricted, reduced, or completely denied. Freedom of expression in the arts is being challenged. The backlash against arts programming, specifically in the state of Florida, impacts our ability to stay committed to our mission. Together, we must ensure that our community will continue to have safe spaces to express ourselves through the arts.
Small contributions can amount to big things for the community. That's why we're calling upon you, our most loyal supporters, to help us strengthen our network of donors. In this fun and easy campaign, supporters can call upon friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors to give what they can or to consider becoming a monthly donor.
Participation is simple! Just click ‘Fundraise’ to set up your page, and then share it with folks who want to support the things you love via email or text. Every time someone donates via your page to Love Your Rebellion, your fundraising total goes up -- and so does ours!
Plus, we have a very special gift for our top fundraiser: a mint condition 7" vinyl copy of "Vow" by Garbage in a limited edition metal sleeve, original release circa 1995.
In addition, every supporter who raises at least $20 will receive an issue of the Love Your Rebellion zine.

It’s finally happening!
Love Your Rebellion is opening a new physical location in Lee County, Florida to host our arts programming. In addition, this new space will offer coffee, tea, beer, & wine, plus a curated assortment of unique books & zines. Your donation will help with our first year of operations and programming costs.
We need your donation now more than ever. Our intention is to create a space built by and for the community through grassroots donations and keep our programming accessible at a low cost. That’s only possible with the support of individuals like you. No amount is too small.

LYR Programs
Love Your Rebellion works tirelessly to revitalize the arts in Southwest Florida, starting with improving the lives of artists, musicians, writers, and artisans from marginalized groups.
For the last 6 years, LYR has produced over 100 alternative arts events – just imagine what we’ll be able to do with our own space! Live music, author lectures, arts workshops, writing circles, zine fests, and art shows: these are just a few of the ideas for our new physical location.
Plus, LYR has employed, discovered, and assisted hundreds of people through our programming. Check out some highlights below from our most loved programs, like Sonic Masquerade, Babefest, Zine Fest, & Rock for Equality.
Sonic Masquerade is LYR’s beloved annual fundraiser event that invites local musicians to participate in cover band performances.
Babefest is LYR’s music event that celebrates diversity in music, featuring a national headlining act.
Zine Fest is LYR’s interdisciplinary festival that features zine, art, & artisan vendors, plus music, visual, fashion, dance, and more.
