It finally happened!

We’re expanding the meaning and reach of the arts in Southwest Florida. Love Your Rebellion, a 501c3 that empowers marginalized groups through the arts, just opened The Rebel at 8711 Cypress Lake Dr. #2, Fort Myers, FL 33919. This new location serves as the homebase for Love Your Rebellion’s arts programming, featuring a cafe and gift shop with new & used books, plus artist tools.

Since opening in May 2026, The Rebel has produced innovative, community-centered arts experiences for teens and adults. Concerts, art exhibitions, workshops, forums, and meetups are all a part of our interdisciplinary programming, offering community members opportunities to connect with the arts and with each other.

If you’re truly interested in advocating for an arts community that is future-oriented and community-focused, become a recurring donor to Love Your Rebellion. Help us power The Rebel so we can build a unique arts community. With your help, the Rebel can reach its full potential as an incubator for Southwest Florida’s brightest and best creatives. We’ve already begun to do so, and we’re not stopping now. Join us!

LYR Programs

Love Your Rebellion works tirelessly to revitalize the arts in Southwest Florida, starting with improving the lives of artists, musicians, writers, and artisans from marginalized groups.

For the last 6 years, LYR has produced over 100 alternative arts events – just imagine what we’ll be able to do with our own space! Live music, author lectures, arts workshops, writing circles, zine fests, and art shows: these are just a few of the ideas for our new physical location.

Plus, LYR has employed, discovered, and assisted hundreds of people through our programming. Check out some highlights below from our most loved programs, like Sonic Masquerade, Babefest, Zine Fest, & Rock for Equality.
