Enjoy music, food, and vendors at Love Your Rebellion’s Rock for Equality 2022 on April 2nd! This annual mutual aid concert will be held this year Ollie’s Pub and Records in Cape Coral, FL.

Fifty percent of admissions, donations, and sponsorships to Rock for Equality 2022 will be donated to the McGregor Clinic. Established in 1999, the McGregor Clinic provides medical care, case management, and social services as well as a food pantry, and a clothes closet. They also provide community education and outreach, including HIV testing via our mobile unit as well as onsite testing in our Community Education Center.

LYR’s $3,000 fundraising goal for Rock for Equality 2021 will fund performer and staffing costs. Make a one-time or recurring donation to help LYR reach our funding goal!
LYR’s Rock for Equality is a diversity-first music and art festival that raises awareness about an issue facing people from marginalized groups. 80% of all acts and artists that participate in Rock for Equality are members of one or more of the marginalized groups LYR’s serves. Plus, LYR partners with a different organization annually that supports the communities we serve. Annual partners are invited to table, distribute materials, talk with patrons, and speak onstage in between music performances. Past partners include Showing Up for Racial Justice SWFL, the Coalition of Immokalee Workers, and Planned Parenthood of Central and Southwest Florida. In 2021, Valerie’s House will be LYR’s Rock for Equality partner. Rock for Equality, and LYR programs like it, achieves all of LYR’s mission objectives: to employ, discover, and support marginalized groups through the arts.
