Your donation helps Love Your Rebellion employ, discover, and assist people from marginalized groups. We’re working tirelessly to revitalize art and culture in Southwest Florida, and improve the lives of artists, musicians, and writers from marginalized groups.
We need your donation now more than ever. Funding cuts to Florida’s arts grants have impacted LYR significantly. LYR receives the majority of our funding from state grants. This veto comes less than 2 years after Hurricane Ian decimated Lee County.
LYR was one of the organizations who closed our home base at Neenie’s House after. Severe damage due to Hurricane Ian forced the business to close, and the owner eventually sold the building.
Just like many of our friends in the area, LYR is in the process of rebuilding. Our goal is to build something stronger, creating more of an impact than we ever have before. We hope you’ll be a part of that journey by donating.
LYR Programs
Your donation is used to support Love Your Rebellion’s interdisciplinary arts programming, like LYR Presents and LYR’s Zine Archive.
LYR Presents features music events that feature local, regional, and national acts, as well as events that incorporates visual art, writing, dance, and other forms of expression.
Sonic Masquerade is LYR’s beloved annual fundraiser event that invites local musicians to participate in cover band performances.
Babefest is LYR’s music event that celebrates diversity in music, featuring a national headlining act.
Zine Fest is LYR’s interdisciplinary festival that features zine, art, & artisan vendors, plus music, visual, fashion, dance, and more.
LYR’s Zine Archive is a collection of digital art and writing books made available for free on our website. Visit the Archive!
